I seriously doubt it, too many people from different countries that are involved in the pumping/shipping/accounting/invoicing process for that to happen without a whistle being blown. The purpose was not to steal oil, but to drive the price high enough that it would spur domestic production.If you look at this whole mess, it's the only scenario that's fills in all blanks. I drive a lot in my job, 6 months before oil prices spiked, i noticed drilling rigs all over Oklahoma. I wondered then why they were drilling with oil at 22.00 a barrel. That was lower that when they shut down in the 80s. 6 months later, 70.00 a barrel. Oil men gamble, but not with prices that low. I no longer believe in coincidence.
