Can someone tell me, what is stopping Saudi Arabia and other oil rich gulf states from applying sanctions in the form of oil exports to the USA %26amp; Israel until they comply with UN resolutions?
Surely if such countries applied sanctions, although it could (in theory), especially in this current economic downturn, destroy the USA %26amp; Israel financially, it would save many lives in Gaza AND Israel as the ceasfire has now ended.
Oh.. I guess America can use Iraqi oil, they are probably getting that free, so the idea may not work.
ThanksWhat is stopping Oil Rich Gulf States from applying sanctions to the USA and Israel?
have you ever seen anything stamped ';Made in Saudi Arabia?'; the only thing the produce and export is oil, maybe figs too, i dunno. but to put sanctions on consumers of your only major product is economical suicide. What is stopping Oil Rich Gulf States from applying sanctions to the USA and Israel?
Yea Saudi Arabia and the Persian gulf can make the change, but in this world it is sad to see a people value money more then people. Even if these people were Muslim. SubhanAllah, may god help the unfortunate. We as a people should be helping each in resemblance to how the day once stood in the world 1400 years ago.
Take Care, and may Allah smile upon you always.
Actually the americans and israelis are indirectly involved in the governments of gulf states so there is no chance to happen something like that you said in the near future until they wake up and try to unite the entire area.
and finally will fall like Iraq and Afghanistan
only the Iranians showing the americans and others the sign of
NO TOUCH ME
Money.
That and many states use the oppression of the palestinian people to divert the attention of the population from the fact that they have few human and civil rights themselves.
The USA got the biggest military in the world. Those troops will attack anyone without consulting their conscience. And none of the other ';democracies'; dares to intervene if the USA commit crimes.
So they remain the bully in the playground. Other countries don't take legal actions against the USA, because US soldiers might kill their citizens for revenge.
Those countries have nothing else, if they stop selling oil to the U.S. they will lose a lot of money, it would also cause the push for alternative energy sources to become more urgent which those oil rich nations don't want. If the day comes when nobody wants their oil any more they'll be the most insignificant people on earth. What else are they good for?
Everyone here hit it on the nail. You can have all the oil in the world, but if you don't let anybody buy it, it becomes useless.
The Oil Rich States are too greedy. They put $$$$$ above all else.
The rich Muslim world actually doesn't care about the Gaza and the poor Muslim world.
We are paying full market price for our oil in Iraq. You do not do that if you are stealing it like you believe. We are OPEC's biggest customer. Without us their economies would die.
The US buys very little oil from the middle east. Economically, the Gulf States rely on the US much more then the US relies on them.
Nothing, but since the USA is their largest customer, their economies would be devastated. Arabs may be a lot of things, but stupid isn't one of them.
If the Saudi's did that then all of a sudden the US would 'realise' that they are a rogue state who support terrorism and bomb them into submission.
It's an imperialist thing!
There is nothing to stop them, except:
Money
arms (which are supplied by US, France etc)
Medicines
skilled personal
and any other goods and services which they source from
the west.
The US is their biggest customer. It's all about money. The entire global economy is inter-dependent.
GREED...when its all boiled down and opened up it comes to money. principal has nothing to do with it. Allah is just a sham.
An inherent desire for money.
money
In the grown-up world, it is all about money.
It's still all about Money.
The Saudis own American financial system.
It would be the same as you posting your anti American B/s But in person your a right polite little guy
